What is Secure Air Act: End TSA Random Searches about?

This bill proposes eliminating random security searches during TSA airport screening. It finds that 32 million Americans report experiencing racial profiling and the chances of profiling catching a terrorist is very low at 1 in 80 million. Studies have shown that security screeners miss weapons and explosives 41% of the time. The bill would stop random searches and fine the Department of Homeland Security up to $10,000 if it does not comply. It would go into effect on January 1, 2017 with no expiration date
