What is A Bad Car Day about?

This photostory is suitable for adult basic education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) students who are learning to read. In this story, Roxy goes to the bank to get money, but she does something very silly. She is feeling quite foolish and somewhat angry at herself, until a stranger stops and helps her out. The photographs reflect the text, making the words easy to decode. This high-interest, low-vocabulary reader is suitable for adolescent and adults who are beginning readers. This title is one of eight in the Humour series. Lexile 110L
