Aiming at a series of problems existing in asymmetric cylinder system controlled by symmetric slide valve, such as asymmetric positive and negative dynamic performance, low precision, poor stability, large lag, strong nonlinear, model reference adaptive control is adopted to make the output of the controlled system track the ideal output of the reference model. In this paper, the mathematical model of valve-controlled asymmetric cylinder is established and the appropriate reference model is selected according to its mathematical model. Finally, by MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation, compared with the classical PID control, this method can achieve more accurate symmetric control and position control.
