The document is a letter from the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education in Odisha announcing that: 1) The syllabus and textbooks prescribed for Class 9 for the 2020-21 academic session will remain the same as the 2019-20 session. 2) For Class 10, the textbooks prescribed for 2019-20 will also remain the same, except for revisions made to some topics in 8 textbooks based on committee recommendations. 3) Only the 2020 editions of these 8 revised Class 10 textbooks will be used by students.
