This study investigates the impact of drilling parameters on the finish and mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) composites. It was found that the width of the damage zone correlates with the ratio of drilling speed to feed rate, with better cut quality at higher ratios. The tensile strength of specimens with holes remains unaffected by cut quality, while bearing strength decreases significantly with an increase in damage zone width.
