What is The ABCD2 Score about?

The ABCD2 score is a clinical tool used to predict the risk of stroke within 2 to 7 days after a transient ischemic attack or minor stroke, based on five parameters: age, blood pressure, neurological features, duration of symptoms, and diabetes presence. Scores range from 0 to 7, with lower scores indicating a lower risk of recurrence and higher scores indicating a higher risk. Specifically, a score of ≤3 corresponds to a 1% risk, 4-5 corresponds to a 4-6% risk, and >5 corresponds to an 8-12% risk of stroke
