What is Supreme Court Ruling on Conjugal Property about?

The Supreme Court of the Philippines ruled that while the land belonged exclusively to the husband, the construction of a conjugal house on the land made both the land and house property of the conjugal partnership. The husband was entitled to reimbursement for the value of the land upon dissolution of the partnership. The court also ruled the sale of the property by the husband to his concubine was null and void, as it was contrary to public policy and subversive to the stability of the family.
