BDC stands for Batch Data Communication. The BDC_OPEN_GROUP function module is used to create a new batch input session. Once a session is created, the BDC_INSERT function can be used to insert transactions into the session by providing a BDCDATA structure containing the transaction data. BDC_CLOSE_GROUP closes the session once all transactions have been inserted.
