Frederick John Kiesler was an Austrian-American architect, designer, and artist born in 1890 in Austria-Hungary and died in 1965 in New York City. He studied architecture in Vienna but did not complete his degree. Kiesler worked as a theater designer in Europe in the 1920s before moving to New York City in 1926.
