This document describes a reconfigurable beamforming folded dipole antenna integrated with an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) and micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) switches. The AMC is formed using a periodic Jerusalem cross slot structure and improves the antenna bandwidth and gain.
