Multiple drugs Various toxicities: case report A 74-year-old man developed toxic subacute autonomic neuropathy, neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (OH) and supine hypertension during the treatment with sorafenib for peritoneal desmoid tumour, acute myelogenous leukaemia during the treatment with mercaptopurine and elevated plasma norepinephrine levels during the treatment with duloxetine. Additionally, he exhibited lack of efficacy during the treatment with furosemide for respiratory symptoms [dosages, routes and durations of treatments to reactions onsets not stated; not all indications and ADRs outcomes stated].The man presented with fatigue, abdominal pain and palpable abdominal mass. He had significant medical history of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, coronary artery disease, mitral regurgitation treated with mitral valve repair, heart failure, chronic kidney disease (stage 3a), depression, ulcerative colitis, colorectal carcinoma (curatively treated with partial colectomy) and prostate cancer (treated with radiation therapy).
