About this document

X-SRAM for In-Memory Boolean Logic by shri1098 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document discusses enabling in-memory Boolean computations in CMOS static random access memories (SRAMs). It proposes augmenting conventional SRAM bit-cells, called X-SRAM, to perform in-memory vector Boolean computations in addition to memory storage. Six schemes are presented for logic gates like NAND, NOR, IMP and XOR using different bit-cell topologies. Simulations show the techniques can save up to 75% of memory accesses.
