This document reports on a study of uveitis (intraocular inflammation) in children and adolescents. The study examined 276 patients aged 18 or younger over a 10 year period. It found that intermediate uveitis was the most common type, affecting over 40% of patients. Non-infectious causes accounted for around 66% of cases, with juvenile idiopathic arthritis being the most common systemic association, present in around 15% of patients. Infectious causes, led by parasite infestation, made up the remaining 33%
