This study evaluated the prevalence and risk factors of prolonged corrected QT (QTc) interval in a general Chinese population, finding a prevalence of 31.6% among 11,209 participants aged over 35. Significant associations with prolonged QTc interval were identified, including older age, abdominal obesity, hypertension, diabetes, hypokalemia, and recent medication use. The findings highlight the need for awareness and management strategies for cardiovascular disease risk in the community.
