What is Atty. Buffe about?

The Supreme Court ruled that former Clerk of Court Karen Buffe violated the prohibition on practicing law within one year of leaving her position by appearing as counsel in cases before the same court she used to work at. While Buffe claimed the law was unfair, the Court found her interpretation of the law allowing this to be incorrect. As a sanction, the Court fined Buffe 10,000 pesos and warned her to not commit further professional misconduct.
