Composite membranes were synthesized for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. Water uptake, ion-exchange capacity, hydrogen permeability, and proton conductivity were determined. Composite membranes showed the significant improvement of all tested properties compared to that of pure Nafion membrane.
