What is Holdbrooks about?

Terry Holdbrooks Jr. converted to Islam while serving as a military police guard at Guantanamo Bay detention camp from 2003 to 2004. Through long conversations with detainees, he began to question what he had been taught about Islam and view the detainees as individuals rather than terrorists. After struggling after leaving the military, he rediscovered peace in following Islamic principles and now travels to raise awareness about abuses at Guantanamo and encourage Muslims to advocate for policy change.
