A 60 year old man presented with sudden onset shortness of breath and chest pain. On examination, he had reduced breath sounds and hyperresonance on the right side of his chest. Differentials included pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and pneumothorax. A chest x-ray showed opacity in the right lung, consistent with pneumonia.
