IAC Electricals Pvt Limited has a unique testing facility for mechanical and vibration tests on insulators and insulator strings. The facility can perform vibration/fatigue testing on insulator strings up to 1200 kV AC and 800 kV HVDC voltages, as well as mechanical failing load testing of insulator strings up to 1200 kV AC and 800 kV HVDC voltages with up to 2000 KN mechanical strength. A variety of insulator tests can be conducted including tensile, compression, bending, and torsion.
