Microwave ODUs can be deployed in several configurations: 1) 1+0 uses a single ODU connected directly to a microwave antenna, providing no resilience. 2) 1+1 HSB or 2+0 uses two ODUs connected via a coupler to one antenna, with one active and one on standby for resilience. 3) Other resilient configurations include 1+1 SD using separate antennas and 1+1 FD using separate frequencies.
