About this document
AM/FM Simultaneous Transmitter Design by Sourav Roy is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This circuit allows for simultaneous transmission of AM and FM radio signals. AM signals are transmitted at 20 MHz while FM signals are transmitted at 100 MHz by using the 5th harmonic of the 20 MHz crystal. Transistors Q1 and Q2 form an amplifier for the audio signal, which is then fed to the modulator formed by NOR gates in a CD4001 chip. A long wire antenna is recommended for best reception of both AM and FM signals transmitted by this circuit.
