What is Grandfather and Timothy the Tiger about?
Grandfather had discovered a tiger cub named Timothy on a hunting expedition. He brought Timothy home and Timothy was raised with companions and grew up playing with the narrator. However, as Timothy grew older his behavior changed and he began stalking other animals, so Grandfather took him to a zoo. Later when visiting the zoo, Grandfather went to see Timothy but discovered the tiger there was not actually Timothy, who had died, and was a different dangerous tiger.
