A 66-year-old female patient presented with symptoms of chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed with severe mitral stenosis and mild mitral regurgitation, as well as pulmonary hypertension. Chest x-rays showed an enlarged heart shape, increased blood vessel patterns in the lungs, and a sharp costophrenic angle. The patient underwent mitral valve replacement surgery.
