This case report describes a patient who experienced complete resolution of their aquagenic pruritus (itching induced by water exposure) symptoms after taking fluoxetine, an antidepressant medication. The patient had previously untreated aquagenic pruritus for several years. After starting fluoxetine for depression, their pruritus symptoms did not return except for mild symptoms once in the fall. The report suggests fluoxetine may have directly treated the patient
