What is The Two Gentlemen of Verona Summary about?

This story is about two brothers, Nicola and Jacopo, aged 13 and 12, who live in Verona, Italy. To support their older sister Lucia, who has tuberculosis of the spine, the boys do various jobs in Verona to earn money to pay for her nursing home care. When the narrator offers to do anything for them before leaving Verona, Jacopo asks for a ride to their village. However, the village turns out to be a hospital, where the boys are dedicating their lives to caring for their ill sister.
