This document describes an experiment on RC coupled amplifiers. The experiment uses a two-stage RC coupled amplifier circuit to: [1] Measure the DC operating voltages of each transistor stage; [2] Demonstrate the operation of the amplifier by measuring the AC voltage gains with and without emitter bypassing; [3] Characterize the frequency response of the RC coupled amplifier configuration. Students will learn how RC coupling is implemented between transistor stages and how it affects the AC load resistance
