About this document
Settling Properties of Aerobic Granular Sludge AGS by Aravind Srivathsan is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the settling properties of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) and aerobic granular sludge molasses (AGSM) cultivated in a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) for wastewater treatment. The results indicate that AGSM exhibits a higher settling velocity of 30.5 m/h compared to AGS, attributed to the enrichment of molasses and biomass accumulation. X-ray fluorescence analysis reveals distinct elemental compositions in both AGS and AGSM, highlighting the potential of AGS for treating molasses waste
