The document summarizes a study that assessed dental age in Romanian children using the Demirjian method of dental maturity assessment. 441 panoramic radiographs of Romanian children aged 5.5-14.5 years were scored by two examiners. On average, Romanian girls showed a dental age overestimation of 0.36 years compared to chronological age, while boys showed an underestimation of 0.04 years.
