What is AMR Codec Mode and Rate Overview about?
AMR is an adaptive multi-rate voice coding/decoding technique used in GSM that allows automatic selection of coding rates based on radio interference levels. It supports multiple coding rates from 4.75 kbps to 12.2 kbps for AMR FR and 4.75 kbps to 7.95 kbps for AMR HR.
