This study compared the effectiveness of clostridial collagenase ointment (CCO) and medicinal honey in treating pressure ulcers. Real-world data from electronic health records of over 500 CCO-treated and over 300 honey-treated pressure ulcers were analyzed. CCO-treated pressure ulcers achieved faster granulation and epithelialization compared to honey-treated ulcers.
