What is Violet King: Canada about?

Violet Pauline King Henry was a pioneering Canadian lawyer and activist, recognized as the first Black woman lawyer in Canada and the first Black person to graduate law in Alberta. She achieved significant milestones by graduating with an LLB from the University of Alberta in 1953 and being admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1954. Her contributions paved the way for future generations of Black legal professionals in Canada.
