Understanding Enculturation Process by Mithannsh Jain is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Enculturation is the process by which people learn the cultural values, beliefs, and norms of their society through observation, instruction, and experience from parents, peers and teachers. The goal of enculturation is for individuals to learn the rituals, expectations and language of their culture so they can function successfully as members of that society. Enculturation occurs primarily through observing others and is how cultural behaviors and content are passed down between generations.
