David Constantine designed an affordable and adjustable wheelchair in 1989 that could be used in developing countries. He formed the non-profit Motivation in 1991 to manufacture this wheelchair. Motivation now designs a range of wheelchairs including a multisports wheelchair requested by the International Paralympic Committee for the 2012 London Olympics.
