The Supreme Court outlined extensive due diligence requirements for purchasers claiming to be a bona fide purchaser without notice. To qualify, a purchaser must show: 1) They acquired a valid and legal title. 2) They conducted necessary due diligence to determine the lawful owner, including tracing the title back to the original allotment. 3) They paid valuable consideration.
