What is Becoming a Quarterly Journal about?
2023 will undoubtedly be a turning point for Latin American Policy (LAP). Starting this year, the journal will be published quarterly. This evolution is possible due to the maturity and stature the title has gained in the field of international specialized academic publications. Our new periodicity is also due to our growing number of readers and subscribers over the past decade. The first issue of LAP was published in June 2010, when Latin America and the world, in general, were barely recovering from the subprime crisis. Since then, the vocation of our magazine has been to take the pulse of the main problems and opportunities featured in the region-from financial crises to climate change, from authoritarian regressions to new ways of making public policies more inclusive and participatory. Now that the journal will be quarterly, our contributors will have more opportunities to disseminate their research papers, and our readers, more quality literature to sharpen their points of view.
