About this document
Understanding Adaptive Defrost Cycle by daringole is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Adaptive defrost regulation works by dividing temperature regulation into two phases: 1. A calibration phase where the controller learns the ideal evaporator temperature to reach the target temperature. 2. A normal working phase where the controller counts compressor working time below the ideal temperature, and initiates defrost when this time reaches a threshold or the temperature drops below a delta value. It also initiates safety defrost every set hours. After defrost, it begins a new calibration phas
