About this document

Fine-Structure Impact on Speech in Noise by Matlab datta is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study aims to determine the relative contributions of low versus high frequency fine structure information for speech perception in noise for Indian English. Normal hearing individuals and those with moderate-severe sensory neural hearing loss between 18-25 years old will participate. Mono-syllabic speech stimuli will be presented in noise while manipulating the fine structure information in different frequency bands. The results will help understand how much low frequency hearing is needed for speech
