About this document

Crack Speed in UHPC Under High Loading by bistsushant is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigated the crack speed in ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) under slow and high loading rates. Three UHPC mixtures with 0%, 0.5%, and 1.0% steel fiber content by volume were tested. Under slow loading rates from 0.025 to 1 s-1, fiber-reinforced UHPC showed lower crack speeds than non-fiber UHPC, indicating fibers resist crack opening at slow rates. However, at high rates from 6.8 to 41.1 s-1, all UHPC mixtures exhibited similar crack speeds, suggesting cracking is independent of fibers
