What is ESEF Infographic about?

This document discusses the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) regulation which requires listed companies in the EU to prepare their annual financial reports in XHTML format tagged with iXBRL. The regulation applies to annual reports for financial years beginning on or after 1 January 2020. It covers around 7,000 listed companies across the EU. The technical standard has been submitted to the European Commission for endorsement.
