This study investigates the use of lichens and plant leaves as biomonitors for assessing air pollution in two museums in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Results indicate that lichens effectively monitor outdoor metallic particulate matter (PM) from vehicular sources, while Jacaranda mimosifolia leaves are more efficient than Fraxinus americana in trapping PM.
