This study examined the incidence of odontogenic sinusitis at a tertiary care center. The researchers reviewed 100 patients diagnosed with chronic sinusitis between 2013-2015. They found that 17% of chronic sinusitis cases were caused by odontogenic (dental) infections, most commonly affecting the maxillary sinus.
