This document describes a study of foraminifera from deposits of the lower Miocene Qom Formation in northeastern Isfahan, central Iran. Two main planktonic foraminifera zones were identified, indicating early Miocene ages. Benthic foraminifera were examined to reconstruct paleoenvironments. Cluster analysis identified three benthic foraminifera clusters, indicating inner neritic, middle-outer neritic, and outer neritic environments.
