What is Information Visualization: Using Virtual Reality Techniques in the Three-dimensional Representation of Data from a Medical Images Database about?

This paper presents the importance of representing data in a visual form in order to facilitate its understanding and introduces a proposal of a tool to information visualization from results obtained in queries of a medical image database by using threedimensional objects. The system will be developed in nonimmersive Virtual Reality environment aimed to make possible its use with computers without requirement of additional hardware and software.
