## Abstract If two variable liquids, which are in osmotic contact with an invariant liquid, have the same composition at the beginning of the osmosis and, of course, also the same composition at the end of the osmosis (viz. that of the inv. liq.), they will get, however, a different composition at every moment of the osmosis.
