About this document
Sycamore Seed Carbon for Sodium-Ion Batteries by Spades Of Blue is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document summarizes research on developing a new type of low-cost hard carbon material from sycamore fruit seeds for use as an anode in sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). Sycamore fruit seed was carbonized at different temperatures from 900-1500°C to produce hard carbon samples. Testing showed the 1100°C sample achieved a reversible capacity of 323 mAh/g at 0.1C and maintained 87.85% capacity retention after 300 cycles at 0.4C, demonstrating potential for high capacity and cycle stability.
