About this document

Melanoma In Situ: Diagnosis and Treatment by cherryrisky1 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study reviews 121 cases of cutaneous melanoma in situ to identify clinical features and optimal surgical treatments. The findings indicate that typical characteristics of melanoma in situ are often distinctive enough for clinical diagnosis, with most cases treated effectively through limited excision with 3 mm margins. Despite a few local recurrences, the prognosis remains favorable, with a high survival rate and no metastases observed during follow-up.
