About this document

EER, IEER, and SEER Explained by Dipin Dang is a document available to read on EtoBox.

EER measures efficiency at peak load conditions but can be misleading if you live in an area with seasons. IEER provides a more accurate representation of efficiency by calculating ratings at different outdoor temperatures and weighting them. SEER is similar to IEER but used for residential equipment. IPLV also calculates efficiency at part loads through different formulas and gives a standard for comparing chillers
