Methyl Jasmonate Enhances Persimmon Quality by talitaferreira058 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study examines the impact of postharvest methyl jasmonate (MeJA) treatment on the quality of persimmon cv. Karaj during 120 days of cold storage. Results indicate that MeJA significantly reduces chilling injuries, preserves physico-chemical properties, and enhances antioxidant capacity while decreasing malondialdehyde content. Specifically, concentrations of 16 and 24 µL L−1 MeJA are effective in maintaining fruit quality during long-term storage.
