The air temperature sensor in the overhead control panel often fails, causing automatic climate control malfunctions. This can be diagnosed using the ACC hidden menu to check the internal temperature reading. If it reads 0C when the cabin is not cold, the sensor has failed. Dismantling and cleaning the sensor and aspirator is recommended to repair it. Special care must be taken when reconnecting one of the electrical connectors to ensure it is fully seated.
