The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,055 out of 2,145 midwife examinees passed the licensure exam given in April 2016. The top performing school was the Camarines Sur Polytechnic College-Nabua campus, with 59 out of 64 examinees passing for a 92.19% rate. Marilou Jumalon Montefalcon from Christ the King College in Gingoog City ranked first with a 90.50% rating.
